Mill Village Pottery
Enter a space that has been called “a sanctuary” by some. Mill Village Pottery is a place where Earth meets Spirit in the work of Vermont-born potter Lynn Flory. A professional for over 20 years, her pieces are being enjoyed all over the world. From the artistic to the uniquely functional, Lynn Flory encompasses a profound depth in her work. For over ten years she was mentored by world famous potter Otto Heino and is the holder of many of his rare glazes, including the famous “yellow.” Her signature piece in the functional line is the Yunnan Steam Pot, which is a healthy and energy-efficient way to cook. The pot traps flavors and nutrients, lending itself to unlimited versatility. These steam pots, in a variety of sizes, are a wonderful addition to any kitchen and take up very little room, making them ideal for small kitchens and tiny homes as well as standard kitchens. Used by professional chefs and the everyday cook, you can make cooking simple and fun.
Lynn’s other vessels are works of art, and each one has a story to tell. Famous for her etched forest scenes, she unveils the world she so loves and walks in. It is said by many, “ I can feel the energy in her work.” From artistic table work to pieces for any setting, you will be surprised by the diversity and color. Also known for her profound and life-changing conversations, there is something to be found in the experience of visiting Mill Village Pottery.
