Basket making began in my early years at school where my passion left my mother floundering over how to utilize them all! Over the many years of traveling the world I've learned many different techniques and uses of varied materials from the indigenous peoples. Since moving to America I have become enamored with Native American and Shaker baskets and my designs are now heavily influenced by both. I like my baskets to have a practical use as well as being aesthetically pleasing in both shape and finished detail. Currently I work in reed and black ash but have been know to weave what ever materials are at hand! Special orders are a delight in any shape or form! I am also available to teach one and two-day workshops.
